The human design gates of pisces season
Pisces is symbolized by two fish moving in opposite directions.
Compassionate. Creative. Empathetic.
Once again, we've come full circle to the final sign of the zodiac, Pisces. Pisces is the ultimate shape-shifter, able to adapt easily to its surroundings and to the people around it.
It also knows that there is more to life than what we can see.
As a result, Pisces often feels an urge to transcend reality and to mergewith something greater than itself. This urge can express itself through spirituality, creativity, service, or even numbing forms of escapism (e.g., drugs or alcohol).
For this reason, the experience of being in a physical body is not always easy for Pisces.
Furthermore, Pisces tends to have a malleable sense of self, which can cause it to struggle with maintaining boundaries.
With its idealistic, romantic, and compassionate nature, Pisces can be susceptible to being taken advantage of. At the same time, its accepting and non-judgmental nature can help others feel seen and understood, sometimes without a word even being said.
Pisces has a tremendous faith in the mysterious workings of the Universe, that things are happening for a reason and that everything will eventually work out. This faith gives it the fortitude to maintain a powerful vision for something that doesn't yet exist and to bring that vision into this reality.
Pisces feels fulfilled when it can incorporate its soulful and creative (often artistic) aspects into its work. It excels in the arts (e.g., music, dancing, acting, or creative writing), as well as in metaphysics, healing, and social work. Its vocational path is not likely to be linear.
A career that focuses exclusively on logic is not likely to be fulfilling to Pisces. Furthermore, too much social interaction can drain Pisces. This is a sign that needs time to retreat and rejuvenate on its own.
During Pisces season, the sun is moving through the following human design gates:
Gate 30 (Desire) in the Emotional Center - You have endless desires within you, and you feel an urge to try all kinds of new things; as this gate is also known as the Gate of the Fates, you may have a fear of fate or of your desires not being fulfilled.
Gate 55 (Fullness) in the Emotional Center: You have deep and powerful emotions, and it’s important for you to honor your emotional highs and lows by only doing what you’re in the mood to do; you may have a fear of emotional emptiness or a lack of passion in life.
Gate 37 (Friendship) in the Emotional Center: You naturally hold your family or community together through your warmth, friendliness, and desire to nurture, especially when you’re recognized by others; you may have a fear of tradition or of being trapped in traditional roles in life.
Gate 63 (Questioner) in the Head Center: You feel the mental pressure to make sense of patterns through logic and doubt in order to come up with solutions for humanity and to predict future outcomes based on current patterns; remember that because this gate is meant to benefit the collective, any doubts you have are meant to be projected outward into the world and not inward towards you and your life.
Gate 22 (Grace) in the Emotional Center: When you’re in the mood to be social, you can be graceful and magnetic (especially to strangers) and can empower others with your emotional depth; however, when you’re not in the mood to be social, it’s better for you to be alone. You may have a fear of silence or of not being heard.
Gate 36 (Surrender) in the Emotional Center: You grow the most through powerful emotional experiences and constant change and gain valuable wisdom from your experiences, which you can then share with the collective; you may have a fear of emotional or sexual inadequacy or of your ability to handle a new experience.
Gate 25 (Innocence) in the Identity Center: You are a spiritual warrior with a gift for maintaining a child-like innocence in the face of adversity and initiating challenges that test you; as you gain wisdom from life’s initiating challenges and maintain your innocence throughout your journey, you enrich your spirit and the spirit of those around you.
Given the emotional depth of Pisces, it's not surprising that so many of its gates are located in the Emotional Center.
Note that both Gate 30 and Gate 25 are cusp gates. Gate 30 begins in Aquarius and move into Pisces, while Gate 25 begins in Pisces and moves into Aries.
Are any of these gates defined (colored in) in your bodygraph? If so, you have consistent access to the energy of the defined gate(s), and you are impacting others with this energy through your very presence.
If these gates are open or undefined (white) in your bodygraph, then your experience of these gates is more fluid. You are temporarily taking in and amplifying the energy of any open or undefined gates through your interactions with other people and/or through planetary transits that activate these gates for you.
Whatever is white in our bodygraph, whether it is a gate, channel, or energy center, is a potential area of growth and wisdom for us as we gain different perspectives on that energy throughout our life.
As a reminder, we each have all of the chart; what varies is our experience of the chart based on our specific placements.
