The human design gates of aquarius season
Aquarius is symbolized by the water bearer.
Unconventional. Intellectually-driven. On the cutting edge.
Aquarius looks to the future and is not afraid to break with the past to do things in a new and better way.
With its need to express its individuality and unique ideas (which are often ahead of the times), this sign has a flair for the unusual. While Aquarius doesn't seek the spotlight, it tends to stand out in any crowd.
Although Aquarius has a fiercely independent spirit, it also needs social interaction and has an affinity for groups and community. It enjoys working with people who share its humanitarian ideals and who have the same goals. It will stand by its principles and convictions regardless of what others think. Despite its progressive nature, it can have a fixed way of thinking when it's convinced that it's right.
In its career, Aquarius wants the freedom to be inventive and to share its original thinking with others, and it may be drawn to an unorthodox path. It's also willing to challenge authority.
Aquarius will not last long in positions where it's micro-managed or where it has to do things in a certain way because "that's how it's always been done."
Even if your Sun is not in Aquarius, if you have Aquarius placements (especially your Ascendant or Midheaven or your Moon, Mercury, Venus, or Mars), you may find yourself resonating with these Aquarius needs in your work.
During Aquarius season, the sun is moving through the following human design gates:
Gate 60 (Newness) in the Root Center - You feel the pressure to bring something new into the world; this pressure makes you feel restless, and you’ll be sensitive to any limitations you perceive.
Gate 41 (Dreamer) in the Root Center - You feel the pressure to experience a new feeling or do something new with others and to fantasize about your dreams and desires.
Gate 19 (Needs) in the Root Center - You feel the pressure to be sensitive to the needs of others and often know what others need before even they know it.
Gate 13 (Listener) in the Identity Center - You’re a gifted listener and naturally draw stories, secrets, and experiences out of others; you often know more than you let on.
Gate 49 (Principles) in the Emotional Center - You have strong principles and a desire to be with like-minded allies; you may have a fear of rejection, nature, or unpredictability.
Gate 30 (Desire) in the Emotional Center - You have endless desires within you, and you feel an urge to try all kinds of new things; as this gate is also known as the Gate of the Fates, you may have a fear of fate or of your desires not being fulfilled.
Note that both Gate 60 and Gate 30 are cusp gates. Gate 60 begins in Capricorn and moves into Aquarius, while Gate 30 begins in Aquarius and moves into Pisces.
Are any of these gates defined (colored in) in your bodygraph? If so, you have consistent access to the energy of the defined gate(s), and you are impacting others with this energy through your very presence.
If these gates are open or undefined (white) in your bodygraph, then your experience of these gates is more fluid. You are temporarily taking in and amplifying the energy of any open or undefined gates through your interactions with other people and/or through planetary transits that activate these gates for you.
Whatever is white in our bodygraph, whether it is a gate, channel, or energy center, is a potential area of growth and wisdom for us as we gain different perspectives on that energy throughout our life.
As a reminder, we each have all of the chart; what varies is our experience of the chart based on our specific placements.
