Of course, I'm talking about Cancer. ♋
If you're finding yourself laser-focused on home and family these days, then you're definitely picking up on this season's Cancer vibes. In fact, with Jupiter, the planet of abundance and prosperity, visiting this sign until June 30, 2026, expect for the collective to be tuned into all things Cancer for a while.
What drives Cancer? The desire for emotional security.
Feeling protected and nurtured, as well as protecting and nurturing others, is a never-ending theme for this Water sign. After all, its ruler, the Moon, represents home, family, and the emotional body.
Cancer often extends the concept of family to the workplace. It draws on its caring nature when interacting with colleagues and/or clients. In particular, Cancer has a gift for always remembering the "little" things about others and for sensing when someone is having a bad day.
While it is a Cardinal (initiating) sign, Cancer often takes an indirect path to getting what it wants given its wary nature. Even so, it's a very shrewd sign and is not to be underestimated.
The more emotionally connected Cancer feels to its work and the safer it feels in its work environment, the more fulfilled it will feel. Cancer also needs to feel emotionally supported at home in order to show up as the best version of itself at work.
A career that lacks emotional support or safety does not suit Cancer, and, over time, Cancer may end up feeling burned out or taken advantage of.
